I love the way our teachers teach, because it is fun. The classes offered are all very good. I especially like learning about the capitols and states, history. My favorite is about Mesopotamia. I also love the solar energy class. The teachers are very nice and they will help you to understand things better. Student K……. writes: I like this school better than my old school, because I get more attention and help. My teachers are all great, and will help me when I need it. It is also much less stressful than my old school. I like coming here and learning. I also like walking into this school every morning much better, than I ever did in my old school, because I mostly felt like I was walking into a jail or something like that. I am glad I am here, and would rather be here than my old school any day. I miss my friends and some of my old teachers at the old school, but I am still much happier that I am here now. I get more choices here than I did at my old school. And I like it here, my teachers, my friends and all. Signed with a smiley face K.W. Student J…….. tells us: I like my new school, because it's a nice school, and we have nice teachers. They help us a lot at this school, to understand and all. I think it is good that some of the students who need help can get tutoring after school, and after the After School activities, they can get tutoring every day, so that we can have a better understanding with our lessons. One of the Exchange Students writes: I love my school and I love my teachers. I know this school is small, and we can't change that. Like for instance we can't be loud in the corridors, because this school has Elementary and Kindergarten students. If we scream the Kindergarteners might wake up from their nap. After our classes is relax time. I love our teachers. They all give me homework, that is correct, and good, because we are students and we must learn much from our homework, for test and study. Teachers all have their own way, but they all want us to do well. They want that we learn many thing, though sometimes their way is intrepid, but they want us to learn very quickly and make big progress in our studies. I am an Exchange Student and it is hard for me, but my teachers teach many things to me, to let me speak English and learn the English language better, and to read English. I love my school. I love my teachers. Another student: I would like to let you know what I like and dislike about this school. First of all my two favorite and most enjoyable classes would have to be Mrs. Phonesia and Mr. Caliph (Graphic Art and Woodburning). They make our classes fun and I think they actually get the point across when they are teaching. Mrs. Phonesia gives us a lot of homework, but that is only normal for high schoolers, and I don't mind. My goal is to catch up and be in 11th grade. I would give Mrs. Phonesia, Mr. Caliph and Mr. Mike an A in my report card for them. I think all of the classes offered are good and I enjoy learning a lot. I don't much care about physics or electricity and so I don't care a lot about Mr. James' class. I would like to see some more career development programs, 2 or 3 days out of the week. Other than that everything is really good. Signed S. F. A letter from parents: Marion County School of Music and Marion County Private School is the best school in all of South Carolina. This is the second private school, in which we enrolled our children. And by far, this is the best school that I could have chosen. I have seen a significant change in my children's grades and their behavior, and their attitudes toward school. MCSM = MCPS provides our children with a great array of extra curricular activities, such as piano lessons, horseback riding, Garden Club and many, many more. The school does not only provide my children with a safe environment, but they also have highly skilled teachers who cater to the children's needs. For instance if a child is delayed or advanced in their learning, the teacher will provide extra help if the student is behind, and give additional work advancing him, and the student who is ahead will receive work to continue advancing. MCSM - MCPS is a great school, always and continually striving for excellence and who's Number One priority is providing my kids with a great education. MCSM - MCPS is a remarkable choice of school, which we are very proud and pleased that we have chosen it for our children. This school truly believes in the "No Child Left Behind" ethic. Another parent speaks: I think Marion County Private School is a wonderful place for my daughter. She is getting the attention she is needing. She is really liking school. She is also a lot happier, than she was in her previous school. I wouldn't change a thing. Mrs. Rose is a very nice lady and my daughter's teachers are very nice, too. Signed Thank you L.L. A mother of a student writes: I would like to give the Marion County School of Music - Marion County Private School an A and the teachers an A as well. I think that, as for me, there is no need for improvements of any kind, at this time. I am pleased at how my daughter is learning, and she has come a long way.
